This course deals with drawing techniques with a focus on developing skills in observation, visual sensitivity, and concrete expression. Students will learn the basic elements of drawing, including lines, planes, forms, light, value, and color based on color theory.

PROJECT 01 - Gesture Drawing

Gesture Drawing attempts to capture action or movement. it is a method of training hands to quickly sketch what the brain has already seen.

PROJECT 02- contour drawing

Contour Drawing is a sketch of the contour of a subject by drawing lines that result in a drawing that is essentially an outline.

PROJECT 03- perspective

Perspective drawing is a drawing technique used to illustrate dimension through a flat surface. In this class students will learn 1,2,3, point perspective drawing.

PROJECT 04- positive and negative space
