Type in motion INTRODUCTION

The goal of this course is to cultivate a multimedia designer with a sense of time and motion for the digital era. Using time and motion with typographic elements and various media, more effective and compelling communication is possible. Therefore students will be exposed to diverse visual experiences through studio projects and learn how to articulate ideas into words and to execute the ideas into digital imagery while understanding the importance of problem solving methods in the design process.

PROJECT 01- KINETIC DISPLAY ABOUT INFORMATION

First project is ´Kinetic Display of Information´ which transforms an informaiton article from static media (newspaper/magazine/script) to kinetic media using type in motion.

PROJECT 02- ENHANCING EMOTION WITH KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY AND SOUND

Second project is 'Enhancing Emotion with Kinetic Typography and Sound,' which is to visualizing a musical piece using type, images and sound while conveying emotion of the music.
